Pedo Miguel Arrigada Goncalves, a 29 year-old Portuguese converted to Shia Islam in the Holy Shrine of Shahecheragh by saying the two testimonies of faith.

According to the public relations office of the Holy Shrine, Ayatollah Dastgheib said that form this day forward this young man is our brother in religion and brother of every Muslim. He said: this young man has gained himself the dignity and pride in life and afterlife by converting to Islam. He has found the true path of salvation and the left path.

This young man who announced his conversion to Islam as the happiest event of his life said: looking for a perfect program for life, I researched all religions and found Islam as the best plan so I chose it.

According to the public Relations office of the Holy Shrine, Ayatollah Dastgheib dedicated a Holy Quran and a couple of religious book in English to this young Muslim.
