Ayatollah Dastgheib: no person is off limits when it comes to divine tests

The custodian of the Holy Shrine of Shahecheragh said: no one is left without being tested by God, and one’s advancement is determined by safely passing these tests.

According to the public relations office of the Holy Shrine, in his meeting with a group of physically disabled elite, Ayatollah Dastgheib said: there is a divine test for anyone who comes to this world so that man’s character is made on the process of enduring these problems to turn  into the perfect human, and appreciate God’s blessings. If there are defects it be clear that having it all doesn’t mean that one is saved going through troubles; but everyone faces some sort of problem and the important thing is to pass these tests by knowing God and ourselves.

He said: man’s advancement is not depended on being male or female, young or old, rich or poor, healthy or sick. Anyone is somehow tested in this world.

The deputy of Combatant Clergy Association in Shiraz said: there are many people in this world who have physical challenges but reach high scientific and personality ranks.

Our religious leaders advise us to keep the light of hope in our hearts and not be disappointed of the mercy of God, because disappointment is one of the greatest sins. This includes all problems and defects in the world and in this aspect one should not let disappointment in his heart even for a second. Because God has promised in the Quran that having faith and good deeds are awarded with good life and eternal reward.
