Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Asghar Dastgheib said: Imam Khomeini said “there were no Iran if it weren’t for IRGC”; it’s a reality which still continues. IRGC and Islamic Republic go side by side and support each other.

In his meeting with Major General Seyyed Hashem Ghiyasi (the commander) and a group of authorities and staff of Fajr Guard Corpse, Ayatollah Dastgheib supported IRGC and said: for the support provided by our patriot people, it is a pleasure to meet my IRGC brothers which reminds me of about 40 years of memories.

He pointed to a Hadith about constant confirmation of religion by wicked men and said: it means in every era, a sinful or wicked person (a person wallowing in deviance and corruption) makes inverse conclusions by his idiotic actions. He wished to damage God’s religion but it backfires, he wishes to stain a divine system like Islamic Republic and it backfires, he wishes to hurt a revolutionary organization like IRGC but it backfires; this is the reality mentioned in that hadith.

Custodian of Shahecheragh Holy Shrine said: in the middle of IRGC’s support of people during and after natural disasters and especially the recent floods, and idiot proposes sanctions against IRGC, he doesn’t know that IRGC is hearts of people for the past 40 years.
