Al-e- Imran/Surah3

 [Remind them O, Messenger!] when the angels said : O’ Maryam! Allah bestows you the glad-tidings of a son who is a creature of Allah’s word of command, and his name is Issa Massih,[1]son of Maryam; he shall be Highly honoured  in this world and in the Hereafter and shall be stationed [as one of those] nearest to Allah. (verse 45)

And he shall speak [by Allah’s will] to the people in the cradle as well as in his maturity and he shall be one of the lefteous ones.( verse 46)

Maryam said: O’ my Creature & Nurture! How shall I have a son, when no man has ever touched me? [The Angle] said: “even so, Allah creates what He wills: When he decrees a thing, He only states to it: “Be!” And it comes to existence;( verse 47)

[And the Angel said:] “And Allah will teach him the Book, and the wisdom, the Taurat and the Injil;( verse 48)

And [also ] appoints him a messenger to the Children of Israil [and he will declare]: “ I have come to you with a sign from your Creator & Nurturer ,I will create for you out of clay, the figure of a bird, then I will breathe into it and it becomes a bird by Allah’s leave; and I leave those born blind, and the lepers by Allah’s leave; and will bring to life the dead by Allah’s leave; and I will declare to you of what you eat and what you store up in your houses Surely, therein is a Sign for you, if you indeed are believes.( verse 49)

“ I have come to attest you what was before me of the Taurat and to make lawful to you certain things that were forbidden before; I have come to you with a sign from your Creator & Nurturer, so fear from the disobedience of Allah’s commands and obey me.( verse 50)

Verily, Allah is my Creator & Nurturer, so worship him [only]: This is the straight way.( verse 51)

Maryam/Surah 19

And [O, Messenger!] mention in the Holy Book [the story of] Maryam When she isolated herself from her People to a place in the eastern part of the city.( verse 16)

So when she chose reclusion from them then We sent to her a Spirit [of Light] from our presence who presented himself to her in the form of a human being;( verse 17)

She said: “I seek refuge from you to Ar-Rahman [One of Allah`s Names of outstanding Excellence] [do not come near] if you fear him.”( verse 18)

The spirit said : “ I am only a Divine emissary of your Creator & Nurturer and I have come to give you glad-tidings of a pure and pious son.”( verse 19)

Maryam said : “How can I have a son when no man has ever touched me ; and I  have never been a unchaste woman?”( verse 20)

The spirit said : “ It will be so. Your Creator & Nurturer states : “ That is easy for Me and We will appoint him a Sign for mankind as well as a sign of our Grace ; this Divine decision is a matter already ordained.”( verse 21)

So she [by Allah`s command] became pregnant and with him in her womb withdrew to a far and remote place [to escape the accusations of the people].( verse 22)

And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree [in order to lean against it] while saying: “If only I had died before this and had been forgotten.”( verse 23)

Then a voice cried to her from the inside of her womb: “Do not be sorrowful; verily, your Creator & Nurturer has provided a stream close to your feet ;( verse 24)

“And shake the branch of the palm-tree towards you, it will come tumbling upon you fresh and ripe dates;( verse 25)

“So it of the fresh date and drink from the stream and be happy. Then if you see  some people around here say: “I have vowed to Ar-Rahman [One of Allah`s Names of outstanding Excellence] a silence fast and today I will not speak to anyone.”( verse 26)

Then she carrying him, [the baby] in her bosom came to her family. They said: “O, Maryam! Indeed you have committed a terrible thing!”( verse 27)

“O, sister of Harun! Your father was not a corrupt man nor your mother an unchaste woman,[how come you did this?]”( verse 28)

Then she pointed to the baby [ implying he will answer your questions] but they said: “ How can We speak to a child who is in the cradle ?”( verse 29)

Issa [Jesus Christ] , [from the cradle] said: “verily, I am  the obedient worshipper of Allah, he has given me a Scripture and has appointed me a messenger; (verse 30)

“And he has made me a blessed being wheresoever I may be; and he has enjoined on me prayer and paying alms as long as I live; (verse 31)

“And [He has enjoined on me] to be dutiful and kind to my mother; and He has not made  me a ruthless compeller; (verse 32)

“And salutation on me, the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised up alive.”( verse 33)
