The Exquisite Handwritten Book of SHAHCHERAGH HOLY SHRINE
The newly established museum is located in the south side of the courtyard. The museum contains valuable relics such as exquisite hand-written Qurans which introduces below:
1. Two volumes of bulky Quran
These two volumes of Quran which include Persian translation in the dimension of 38.5x51.The paper used in that Quran is Papyrus KHAN BALEGH .The Persian translation of Quran is written with red ink.
The style of translation which is one of the first translations of Quran goes back to the SAFARIAN era. This shows the antiquity of the work. Some of the pages of this Quran have illumination of the holy word of ALLAH.
2. The Ninth Part of Quran
This paper of Quran is written and illuminated by SA’DAL NOUR ALLAH in 912 L.Y. The margins and the top part of the first page are illuminated and enamel-worked. The circles between Ayahs and sings of margins are illuminated and enamel-worked. The size of this part is 38x49 and the size of writing is 20x28.This precious work is written on the thick buff paper in 42 pages.6 lines is written on every pages.
3. Nineteenth Part of Quran
This part includes 30 pieces which were donated in 894 L.Y. one headpiece is illuminated and enamel worked on the first page. The circles between Ayahs and the signs of margin are gilt. Its brown leather covering is engraved with a nice TORANJ design.
The size of the covering is 18.5x25.5 and the size of writing on every page is 11x17.5. This part has 54 pages on which 7 lines of Devine Ayahs are written on the buff paper 4.A part of Quran.
4. A part of Quran
Some pages of this precious work related to some Ayahs of surah SAJDE, AHZAB, FATIR and the whole surah of Saba are remained.
The titles of surah of this book are illuminated and the diacritical marks and signs are decorated with red ink. The circles between Ayahs and the signs of margin are illuminated. The size of the covering is 17x21 and the size of the writing is 12x15. 18 lines are written on the buff paper on every pages of this work.
5. Commandments Ayahs
This book contains Ayah of Quran and religious commands. This interpretation is also called “ZOBDATOL Bayan fi BARAHIN AHKAM Quran.” MOLLA AHMAD MOGHADAS ARDEBILLI, one of the nobles of clerics deceased in 993 L.Y. is the author of this book. His book is one of the most famous books for Ayahs related to commandments.
The book is binded with brown leather and cardboard covering. One can see 3 TOTANJ designs on the covering. The book has 513 pages. The size of the book is 19.5x25 centimeter. The themes are written in the size of 12x17 on every page. There are 21 lines in every page. The color of the book’s paper is dark buff. The titles of the themes are written with red ink. A red line is drawn above some of the words and sentences. The book is written in 1055 L.Y. There are some marginal notes in some pages.
6. ANVAROLTANZIL VA ASRZROLTA’VIL
The book is the first volume. This is one of the Arabic interpretations of Quran. NASER ALDIN EBN-E OMAR BEIZAVI known as QAZI BEIZAVI, who has many useful compilations, is the author. Approximately 40 criticisms and description are presented for the book. The book contains from the beginning of Quran to the end of the SURRAH KAHF. The covering of the book is cardboard. It’s in green paper. Papers are in the dimension of 14.5x25 centimeters.
The size of the writings of every page is 7.5x17.22 lines are written on every page. The book has 781 pages with buff paper. This work uses a very special style of writing. A red line is drawn a above the Ayahs of Quran. It has many marginal notes. MOHAMMAD MOHSEN MOUSAVI EBN-E MOHAMMAD SALMAN wrote this book in 1081 L.Y. The above mentioned book is registered in the Arabic interpretations collection of Quran in the number 266 and 56 rows. There are some other volumes and books for this interpretation in the HOLY SHRINE. They will be introduced in another opportunity.
