It was a true honour to welcome a wonderful group of tourists from Hungary to the Holy Shrine of Shahecheragh (peace be upon him). It was truly heartwarming to see how deeply they were moved by the serene and spiritual atmosphere of the Shrine under the night sky. As we strolled through these illuminated, sacred grounds, they admired the dazzling mirror work, the intricate muqarnas, and the timeless elegance of Persian art and architecture glowing in the dark. Moments like these remind me why I love being a tour guide — witnessing the beauty of our heritage as it touches the hearts of visitors from across the world.

When a group of Polish travellers first stepped into the Holy Shrine of Shahecheragh (peace be upon him), they were visibly quiet and reserved, perhaps a little uncertain about what to expect. Yet, as the evening unfolded beneath the luminous dome, their initial hesitation melted away. Drawn into the serenity of the courtyard, they soon became mesmerized by the elaborate beauty around them—the shimmering mirror work, graceful calligraphy, and ornate enamel work. As we said our goodbyes, their initial silence had been replaced by such bright, genuine smiles that it felt like parting with old friends.
